PER-CALL DISPLAY
NYNEX Per-Call Display Service is used to "turn off" NYNEX All-Call Blocking Service for one call. It allows your number and name to be displayed on a Caller ID device and also allows the called party to use Call Return (*69) to call you back. To use Per-Call Display dial *82, listen for a "stutter" dial tone followed by a regular dial tone and then dial the telephone number. If you have All-Call Blocking on your line, this must be done each time you want to display your number and name on a Caller ID device or allow the call to be returned using Call Return. When you use Per-Call Display and your call is returned by someone using Call Return (*69), your telephone number can appear on that person's telephone bill. Special Note: You do not need to know whether the telephone line you are using is equipped with All-Call Blocking or Per-Call Blocking to use *82 or 1182. *82 or 1182 will always unblock your call regardless of what's on the line.
