January 11, 1996 NYNEX CONTACT: Media Relations, (212) 395-0500 Little Joins PCS PrimeCo As VP-Marketing DALLAS, TX -- PCS PrimeCo, L.P., today announced the appointment of Karen Little to the position of vice president-marketing, effective immediately. Little will report to Ben Scott, president and chief executive officer, and be responsible for overseeing the overall strategic objectives, policies and programs for the sales and marketing activities of the company. She previously was vice president for AT&T's Global Information Systems group. "We are very excited to bring Karen on board to head up sales and marketing, in the year we roll out PCS PrimeCo wireless products to customers," said Scott. "Her management experience in business development, sales and marketing in one of the most competitive, high-technology markets in the U.S. is bound to provide new insight into how to meet the needs of customers." Little held numerous positions at AT&T, including director of business development for a Tokyo business; district sales manager for Distributor Sales; reseller area manager for Computer Systems; and data sales director for Network Systems. Before joining AT&T, she held various sales and management positions with Pacific Northwest Bell. Little will be based at the company's Dallas/Fort Worth area headquarters. Little replaces Michael Gee, who left the company in December to pursue other business interests. PCS PrimeCo, the four-way partnership of AirTouch Communications (NYSE: ATI), Bell Atlantic (NYSE: BEL), NYNEX (NYSE: NYN) and US WEST (NYSE: USW), won 11 licenses to provide personal communications services (PCS). PrimeCo and its four owners plan to create a nationwide wireless network by combining their existing cellular properties and PrimeCo's new PCS licenses. The total footprint covers 26 of the nation's major markets representing nearly 170 million potential customers in 46 states and the District of Columbia.
