April 23, 1996 TELE-TV CONTACT: Media Relations, (212) 395-0500 Tele-TV Media Announces Appointment Of Vincent Montuori Vice President, Marketing Operations LOS ANGELES -- TELE-TV Media today announced Vincent Montuori has joined the company as Vice President, Marketing Operations. Mr. Montuori is responsible for development and implementation of all TELE-TV marketing operations, including the creation and execution of brand operating guidelines and systems. He will also spearhead TELE- TV coordination of marketing operations and activities with those of its three partners' (Bell Atlantic, NYNEX and Pacific Telesis') video service organizations. Mr. Montuori will be based at TELE-TV Media headquarters in Los Angeles, and reports to Roger Fishman, TELE-TV Media executive vice president, marketing. "Through Vin's efforts, TELE-TV will be well-positioned to seize the lead in helping educate and inform consumers of the real promise of digital and interactive television service, rather than confound them with more technological jargon," Mr. Fishman said. "That requires continued refinement and coordination of the brand equity and marketing potential already at our disposal with that we expect to create moving forward." Before joining TELE-TV Media, Mr. Montuori had been group manager of marketing for Coca-Cola USA, New York, overseeing Northeast fountain accounts. Prior to that, he was marketing manager for Coca-Cola Fountain at Coca-Cola USA, Baltimore, supervising strategic planning for the Northeast region accounts serviced from the Baltimore and Philadelphia offices. "Consumers have during the past 15 years adopted fax machine, cellular phones and online services, thanks in part to their familiarity with and trust in telephone company providers," Mr. Montuori said. "My role is to see that TELE-TV Media executes a day-to-day marketing process that ensures a similar reception for digital and, eventually, interactive television." Mr. Montuori's marketing career began in 1981 as an account executive for WNBC Radio in New York. After three years there, he joined Lintas: Worldwide, New York as an account coordinator and eventually rose to vice president and account supervisor on Sterling Drug's Bayer Aspirin account. He left Lintas: Worldwide in June 1989 to join The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta as marketing manager, Coca-Cola Fountain.
